YES!!! Divest supports Bitcoin (BTC) VIP trading for eligible transactions. The BTC VIP route allows eligible users to trade Bitcoin at the applicable VIP rate. To trade BTC through the VIP route, follow these steps:
- Open the Divest app.
- On the home screen, switch the trading option from “Crypto to Cash”, then select “Divest VIP.”
- Tap “BTC Rate” and select Bitcoin (BTC).
- Select your preferred payout option and tap Continue.
- Confirm the payout account where you want to receive your payment.
Alternatively, you can use the “Convert to cash- VIP” route.
- Open the Divest app.
- On the home screen, switch the trading option from “Crypto to Cash”, then select “Divest VIP.”
- Tap “Convert to cash – VIP “ and select Bitcoin (BTC).
- Select your preferred payout option and tap Continue.
- Confirm the payout account where you want to receive your payment.
- If you select “My Divest Wallet” as your preferred payout account, your payment will be credited directly to your Divest wallet. From there, you can either keep the funds in your wallet or move all or part of the funds to your preferred payout account.
- Tap “Copy Wallet Address” to copy your BTC deposit address.
- Open the external crypto wallet or exchange where your BTC is currently held.
- Enter or paste the copied BTC wallet address and send the BTC to your Divest wallet address.
- Once the BTC is received and the transaction is processed, your payout will be handled according to the option you selected.
Who is eligible for the BTC VIP rate?
The BTC VIP rate is available only for transactions above $1,000.
Will my BTC wallet address change when I use the VIP route?
No. Your BTC wallet address does not automatically change when you switch between the regular BTC route and the VIP route. The same BTC wallet address can be used for both routes. A new wallet address will only be generated if you manually select “Get New Wallet Address” in the Divest app.
